Last Saturday, I walked through Eaton Centre to discover this live Billboard from John Frieda Precision Foam Colour. A real model with, of course, beautiful hair, was presenting the latest product from the brand. The funny fact is that lots of people were very intrigued by the live model and most of them stood in front of her for a long time to see if she was going to move, laugh or make anything unexpected. I also made her laugh by dancing in front of her but that is not the point. Her hair was gorgeous, very.

The pretty live model

Free samples! You can get some too (find how at the end of the post)

Loved her hair (and sweet face). Notice the number of people reflecting in the glass. Lots and lots.

Free samples were all over Eaton Centre

That was it, the time to renew my hair colour. Yes yes, I do dye my hair, but only from the tip to the jaw. I never go to the hair salon because every time I went, I burst into tears the minute I saw my new hair style/colour/whatever it was suppose to be. That is why I always go for home made color, a shade just a little lighter than my natural color. Like this one from John Frieda Precision Foam Colour, a foam colour system (yes yes, foam! I just screaming foam all over the apartment when I tried it). Just put it on and the product penetrates for an all over coverage (it's all about the foam, really). Super easy to use and the result is just what I wanted, a natural (but fake) ombré.

The colour I've chosen is 7GR a dark warm golden blonde. Precision Foam Colour comes in 24 shades.

Just tilt the bottle (5x's), squeeze and then foam comes out! Magic!
(Everything here comes into the box like good thick conditioner and high quality gloves)

Foam! Super easy and fun to apply. I started applying at the tip, then covered the rest of the hair I wanted to dye with foam and massaged the product in. The foam stayed for 30 minutes.

As you can see, the final result is very soft and subtle, just like I wanted. The colour is very rich and adds a little shine to my head. You can choose the right shade for you here, with their shade selector (very useful) if you feel like trying a new colour. Also, John Frieda Precision Foam Colour will be at Complexe les Ailes Underground on Friday, March 23 & Saturday March 24 & Eaton Centre on Saturday March 24 & Sunday, March 25 (in Montreal). See a very special live billboard & pick-up a voucher to try John Frieda Precision Foam Colour for yourself.

Jacob shirt. Jacob belt. Jacob nail polish.

The list was long (remember my long spring wish list) but everything on it is slowly making its way to my closet. Two-toned shirt, pastel nail polish, boldly colored accessory, yay!

Yagoda shoes from Little Burgundy

Finally, they're mine! I have been talking about this pair of slippers on and on on Twitter for the past few weeks. So happy they found their way through my closet. Minus one item to buy on my spring wish list.

Enfin, oui!

spring stuff i want

I went shopping yesterday and discovered that there is a whole bunch of spring stuff I want. I decided to make a list to help me figure out what I want. So here it is: New Ray-Bans (lost mine, can't live without them), beige skinny jeans (obsessed since Eve Gravel fashion show), pastel nail polish, bird print dress (to make a real spring statement), blue loafers, a new summer bag (don't need one, just want one), two tones flats and blouse, floral blazer (one of spring biggest trend) annnddd a pastel knit. That's about it I think!

Goes on the blog! (despite a few little secrets)

The Fashion Jam, a fashion show for the surfer/snowboarder/skater who wants to discover new designers or renew with his favorite brands. The event takes place in Quebec city, where I had the chance to meet a lot of amazing new people and discover a whole bunch of new designers. I feel in love with Teaspoon, Plenty, Quicksilver and Procotol (for the boys). The whole week-end was just perfect ; I took the train, ate well at Hilton Quebec and had lots of fun with my bloggers friends. I came home with a huge to-buy list and a big smile on my face.

Don't mean to brag about it but I am going to Cancun for the next seven days. Yep yep. Adios snow, cold, scarfs and hello sun, beach hair, margaritas and sunglasses.
.
